April Garner is a licensed clinical social worker in both Tennessee and Pennsylvania as well as a certified sex therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).  She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a masters degree in clinical social work in 2008.  She went on to pursue a masters of education and a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality from Widener University.  

April's clinical experience includes  drug and alcohol  addiction treatment , working with women and families impacted by domestic violence, and working in private practice with individuals and couples struggling with mental health, relational and sexual issues.

April is a trained clinical therapist with experience addressing many general psychological concerns including depression, anxiety and self-esteem.  In addition to the general clinical training, April has done extensive research on body image and sexual satisfaction.
